This large sand beach is a part of Bruce Peninsula National Park close to Tobermory. It is on the Lake Huron side of the Peninsula and is home to trails and a fen which blooms with orchids and carnivorous wildflowers in spring.
On a calm sunny day, Dunks beach could be one of the most beautiful beaches on the planet. The public beach area is quite small so it is recommended that you come here on off-peak times. But even in busy times, there is plenty of space in the lake and it is truly exceptional.
